The new tank

Singapore is really getting warmer and more humid! Mom said somewhere in Indonesia, the farmers are burning the forest again. This happen every year! I do not understand why the humans want to destroy mother nature like this. They are killing themselves too! 
On a happier note, Mom has upgraded the fish tank to 2 feet! It is now a long shallow tank with lots of plants and fish. All the fish are healthy, there are even shrimps inside too! They look kind of gross though. Well the tank is now placed on a higher and more stable cabinet. I cannot really see them but sometimes mom carries me up to look at the fish. I hope she knows I am not a cat and I have no interest in them at all.

Introduction

Hello Everybody welcome to my personal blog! Let me introduce more about myself to you.
Mommy finally thinks I am old enough to have my own blog! After 8 long years! Well you know social media can be a scary thing if we kids do not handle it well so I shall not blame her for this even though 8 years is a little bit too long! 

So! I stay in Bukit Batok, the amazing west! And here is an introduction to my animal friends who stayed here with me too!

First up! The forever noisy Hahns Macaw- Toto (he is named after mom's favourite story book- Toto Chan)
Toto lives in a rather big cage but mommy always allow him to come out for awhile everyday, that makes him happy and stop screaming for awhile. You can hear him all the way from the next block, that is how loud he is! 
He is not allow to have his own blog because mommy feels with his noisy character, he might rant rubbish on the internet and get mommy into big trouble. Well he has his lovable side too. Example...he says the sweetest Helloooo to people he likes. You have to come listen for yourself to believe it of cos. I dont really like Toto because he bit my nose once! But we are still friends and can get along well if we do not get too close to each other. 

Secondly, the soundless newt- Blackie
Blackie is a fire bellied newt. You cant really buy this in Singapore anymore. He lives in a plastic fish tank and is happy being alone and left undisturbed. He is an escape king and thus mommy makes sure the lid is always close tightly. Not many of mommy's friends dare to hold Blackie. Perhaps it is because he is slimy and cold. I do not like him either. He is too tiny, I might accidentally crush him you know.

Mommy used to have another parrot, Buddy the fischer lovebird. Mommy hand fed him since he was just 4 weeks old. He flew away recently in February. Mommy had not trim his wings for sometime and his flight feathers grew longer. One day when Ah Ma was trying to clean his cage, she had forgotten to close the window. Something frighten Buddy and he took off! Normally he doesn't fly even when the windows are wide open. However when birds got frighten, they take off without hesitation. Mommy and Ah Ma tried to look for him downstairs but could not find nor hear him at all. He must had flew straight into the park opposite our house. He is deeply missed by all of us, especially Mommy. I hope he survives outside. He is already 10 years old and I hope he survives outside in the wild. 

Well these are my legged animal friends. I have a few legless animal friends too. I call them...THE FISH CLAN! I do not really see them because they are living in a glass tank, deep in the jungle on a table top. A few of them died unfortunately and mommy feels really guilty about it. The fish tank is just too small but not to worry because mommy had already ordered a bigger and nicer tank for them! I just hope they would still be alive for this upgrade! 
The tank isnt here yet. The people at Green Chapter provides good service but not really good after sales service. They had not update mommy on the delivery of the tank. Its been a week...Lets hope we hear news from them soon! Here are some photos of the fish clan in their jungle.
